A Morris County lottery enthusiast has just secured a $1,000-a-week windfall for life after matching all five white balls in the latest Cash4Life drawing. The fortunate event occurred on a Thursday, securing the player the coveted second-tier prize.
The New Jersey Lottery confirmed on Friday that the winning ticket was purchased at the Quick Chek on South Jefferson Road in Whippany.
New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said, “This prize of $1,000 weekly for life marks a significant milestone in our winner’s life, and we are eager to see the positive changes it brings.”
The lucky numbers for Thursday’s draw on April 25 were 03, 07, 39, 49, and 58, with a Cash Ball number of 01.
Cash4Life offers a daily chance to win prominently, with tickets priced at $2 and an optional doubler for an additional dollar. Players choose five numbers from a set of 60 and a Cash Ball from a set of four. The grand prize is a lifetime $1,000 daily payout or a lump sum of $7 million, with the second-tier prize offering a $1 million cash value alternative. This popular game is available in nine states, including New Jersey.
