Salem Store Sells Powerball Ticket That Ballooned Into a $500K Win

A New Hampshire Powerball player is celebrating after Wednesday night’s drawing delivered a major payday.

The New Hampshire Lottery confirmed a ticket worth $500,000 was sold in Salem, bringing a wave of excitement to the town.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Nouria convenience store on South Broadway, a familiar stop that now has a big win to its name.

The drawn numbers were 21, 35, 40, 46, and 68, with the Powerball number 11. The Power Play multiplier was 10x.

By matching four white balls plus the Powerball, the ticket initially won $50,000. Thanks to the Power Play option, that prize was multiplied, turning it into a half-million-dollar score.

Lottery officials have not yet announced who the lucky winner is, but the ticket holder has plenty of reason to check their numbers twice.
