$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Murrells Inlet Set to Expire Soon

A winning lottery ticket purchased in Murrells Inlet months ago is still unclaimed and is approaching its expiration date.

The ticket was sold at Refuel on Highway 17 for the March 23 Powerball drawing, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The lucky numbers for that draw were 6, 23, 25, 34, and 51, with a Powerball of 3 and a PowerPlay multiplier of 2.

This ticket is worth $50,000, and the prize must be claimed in person at the Columbia Claims Center by September 19, 4 p.m. If mailed, the submission must be postmarked by that deadline.

If the prize remains unclaimed, the money will be transferred to the Education Lottery Account, helping fund educational programs across South Carolina.
