A ticket sold in New York matched five white balls — 3, 20, 30, 52, 62 — missing only the Powerball number, 1. Normally worth $1 million, the ticket’s value doubled to $2 million thanks to the Power Play option.
The winning ticket did not match all six numbers, so the jackpot rolls over once again.
The next Powerball draw, scheduled for Wednesday, now boasts a tempting $113 million top prize.
