Pittsburgh Local Scoops $3 Million in Mega Millions Prize

A Pittsburgh local hit a lucrative $3 million prize in the latest Mega Millions draw, securing their fortune with a ticket purchased at Kuhn’s Market on Banksville Road.

This lucky ticket matched all five white balls—13-19-43-62-64—missing only the yellow Mega Ball, which would have secured the top jackpot prize. However, the win is still a substantial $3 million.

The windfall was possible even without the Megaplier option, which, for an additional $1, could have multiplied any non-jackpot prize. Normally, the ticket would have been worth $1 million, but with the Megaplier, the prize ballooned.

Kuhn’s Market, the retailer that sold the winning ticket, will receive a $10,000 bonus for their part in this exciting win.

Overall, the Pennsylvania Lottery awarded prizes to over 38,000 Mega Millions tickets in this draw, with 7,900 of those tickets benefiting from the Megaplier feature.

As excitement builds, the Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an impressive $393 million, with the next draw scheduled for Friday, May 17.
