Persistent Kentucky Player Wins $25,000 Annually After Nearly a Decade of Dedication

A Kentucky resident has finally struck gold after playing the same set of lottery numbers for nearly a decade, earning a jackpot worth $25,000 a year for life.

Billy Glenn, from Lexington, revealed he had been using the same numbers in the Lucky For Life drawing for nine years and seven months. According to Glenn, the numbers held personal significance, representing special anniversaries and jersey numbers of his favorite Major League Baseball players.

The long-awaited win came during the November 19 drawing, where Glenn’s patience and persistence paid off, landing him the second-tier prize.

“I’ve just been waiting for the dream,” Glenn shared with Kentucky Lottery officials.

The jackpot will provide Glenn with a steady annual payout, which he plans to use for paying off debt and tackling home improvement projects.

“This is a nice little reset,” he added, reflecting on the life-changing moment.
