A fortunate Powerball player in Pennsylvania is celebrating a $50,000 prize after narrowly missing the $326 million jackpot. According to Pennsylvania Lottery officials, the winning ticket correctly matched four of the main numbers plus the Powerball during the drawing on Wednesday, July 23.
The ticket was sold at a Wawa store in Huntingdon Valley, located about 20 miles north of Philadelphia. In addition to this win, another lucky ticket purchased in Georgia earned a $2 million payout. The winning numbers for the July 23 drawing were 2, 18, 19, 25, 35, with the Powerball number being 25. The Power Play multiplier was set at 3x.
