A veteran UPS driver from Greensboro, North Carolina with nearly 40 years on the job, made a bold prediction to a customer on his route that he would hit the Cash 5 jackpot – and he did just that.
“I told him, ‘I’m going to win this one,’” Cameron Vick recalled with a grin.
Vick, who has been delivering packages for decades, decided at the last moment to purchase a $1 Cash 5 ticket through Online Play.
“It was just a spontaneous decision,” he shared. “I didn’t really plan to play; it just happened.”
After discovering his win, Vick shared the news with a close friend.
“He hugged me and started crying,” Vick said, still surprised by the reaction.
After taxes, Vick took home $114,941. He plans to use his winnings for home repairs.
