$2.68 Million Jackpot Claimed in Franklin County, Pennsylvania

A lucky player in Franklin County has struck it big, winning the $2.68 million jackpot in the latest Pennsylvania Lottery drawing.

The winning Match 6 ticket, worth exactly $2,680,000, was sold in Chambersburg for the drawing held on August 29. The ticket matched all six winning numbers: 6, 8, 16, 20, 30, and 39.

The fortunate ticket was purchased at the Corner Convenience & Smoke Store located at 3815 Scotland Main St. in Chambersburg. As a result, the store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The identity of the jackpot winner remains unknown until the prize is claimed and the ticket is officially validated. The Pennsylvania Lottery advises anyone holding a winning ticket to sign the back immediately and contact the Lottery to initiate the prize claim process.

Winners of the Match 6 Lotto have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.

In addition to the jackpot, more than 70,300 other tickets won prizes in Thursday’s drawing.
