A new millionaire has emerged in East Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Lottery.
A lucky player from Maryville hit the jackpot in the Tennessee Cash game, winning $1.1 million by matching all the numbers drawn on Friday night.
The winning ticket was purchased at Lowe’s Market and Deli, located at 2246 Carpenters Grade Road in Maryville. While the winner remains anonymous for now, more details are expected to be shared once the prize is officially claimed.
The Tennessee Cash game offers drawings three times a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Each play costs $1, with an additional Quick Cash option available for $1 more.
This big win follows a recent $50,000 Powerball ticket sold just days earlier at Valley Mart in Sweetwater, located at 513 S. Main Street.
