The Top 5 Biggest Irish Lotto Winners

  1. €18.9 Million – The biggest Irish Lotto jackpot ever paid to someone went to a full syndicate of 16 workers from Bennekerry, Co Carlow. The prize rolled over for two months and was finally matched on June 28, 2008. Their €32 quick pick resulted in the millionaire prize, and some of the new rich Irish players went to work the next day while they did not claim the prize together. There is no news about them.
  2. €16.7 Million – The winner of that amazing sole prize remained anonymous, and the sales clerk said that the prize could not have gone to a better person. After a whole month of rollovers, the prize was finally drawn on April 14, 2010.
  3. €16.3 Million – Another anonymous winner matched the numbers that led him to the jackpot on October 23, 2010. He invested in a €30 Quick Pick and told others that he was not a regular player, only when the jackpot was already high. His plans involved sharing his win with his family.
  4. €16.1 Million – The Cunninghams won an amazing jackpot playing Irish Lotto with only a €4 quick pick ticket on July 28, 2007. Together with their five children, Helen and Paul claimed their big prize and told others that they already had a happy life even before that big prize. Twelve years later, they admitted they had a bit of struggle to have a normal life after becoming a millionaire family.
  5. €13.7 Million – An anonymous family from Co Mayo bought a €10 Quick Pick that resulted in the millionaire jackpot of January 23, 2016. Their identities remain a mystery, but they released a statement saying that they were really happy and that they would start traveling the world.
